Facial Aesthetics at Inverurie Dental Practice by Dr. Shuchi Chaturvedi

Inverurie Dental Practice are delighted to introduce medical facial aesthetic treatments at the practice.

What are facial aesthetic treatments and why would I consider them?

There are several reasons why you might consider facial aesthetics. Facial aesthetics are non-surgical cosmetic treatments and an alternative to more invasive procedures. Lifestyle, the environment and natural ageing all contribute to, uneven skin tones, wrinkles and volume loss.  At Inverurie Dental Practice, we are able to offer anti-wrinkle treatments and dermal fillers in order to rejuvenate the face and enhance confidence. Our ethos is to make subtle, effective enhancements which compliment your facial features and make you feel like the best version of you.

There are several treatments available to choose from. The below is not an exhaustive list but are some of the most popular and common treatments:

Anti-Wrinkle Treatments:

Anti-wrinkle treatments can be used to soften, smoothen and prevent the formation of wrinkles. They can also be used to improve the appearance of the brow, jaw-line and neck, reduce the appearance of crow’s feet as well as lowering lip lines to cover ‘gummy smiles’.

Hyperhidrosis Treatments:

Hyperhidrosis is a term to describe excessive sweating. Small injections can be used to reduce sweating by up to 70-90%.

Dermal Fillers:

Dermal fillers are a multi-functioning treatment and can be used to reduce deep lines and

wrinkles, fill hollows and smooth the contours, as well as adding or restoring volume to areas of the face such as lips or cheeks. At Inverurie Dental Practice, we use hyaluronic acid fillers, which are chemicals found naturally in the skin. However, as we age the amount of hyaluronic acid we produce decreases. These fillers promote volume, hydration and stimulate collagen production.
